There are several up and coming areas around Cincinnati, with current favorite being Madisonville! Here are some projects we have been following the development on and are excited to see the finished results. The project, which is now called Madison Square, is the second phase in the redevelopment of the former NuTone manufacturing site at the southeast corner of Red Bank Expressway and Madison Road.
Medpace Holdings Inc. and RBM Development, received approval from Cincinnati Planning Commission to expand the size of the development. The plan includes building 375,000 square feet of office space, three mixed-use buildings, and 1,500 parking spaces. RBM will also build two private streets, five retail outlet locations, 55,000 square feet of restaurant space, and 350 apartments.
The campus will include the region’s very first Dolce Hotels & Resort Lifestyle Collection hotel, called the Summit Hotel. The hotel is scheduled to open in April. The construction of the Summit Hotel is already being overseen, which will have 239 rooms.
The Madison Square project construction is expected to begin this month and be complete in the fourth quarter of 2019. The second project we are closely watching is Madisonville’s is 275 new luxury apartments. They are called “The RED” with unmatched amenities such as a saltwater pool, art from all over the world, wine storage and bourbon tasting room, and a pet-friendly community adjacent to a full-service pet resort and 3 acre dog park.
