3CRE Advisors Columbus is thrilled to announce our latest assignment with the Godman Guild Association, a non-profit organization.
3CRE has collaborated with the Godman Guild to find a new home for their headquarters. 3CRE represented the sale of the 15,000 square foot Weinland Park property to Marker Development. 3CRE also represented Godman Guild in the purchase of their new 39,000 square foot building, 195 North Grant Avenue in downtown Columbus.
3CRE Senior Investment Advisor Eric Ross said, “Initially, we started this process by getting to know the Godman Guild group and the best approach of meeting their goals through a real estate transaction. They are a group that has a positive impact in the community through workforce development, teen programs, and after-school programs.
The Godman Guild will be renovating their new 35,000 SF 195 North Grant Avenue property. The goal is to create a state-of-the-art workforce development center. A group with a longstanding commitment to enrich Columbus communities and challenge them to be their best. For over 123 years, the Godman Guild Association has continued to implement creative strategies to ensure that communities and their residents are moving forward. They strive to create generations of educated, empowered citizens in all of the neighborhoods that they serve.
Their goal is to “empower’ and their mission statement is “The mission of Godman Guild is to provide programs that enhance the social and economic mobility of individuals and families in Central Ohio.”
Brett Post, Director of 3CRE Columbus, commented, “The Godman Guild group has industry leaders on their board. They’ve got an incredible team whose leadership will be taking the Guild to the next level. We are excited to see their continued work within our community.”
The real winner was the Columbus Community. The Guild and Marker Development have pledged a portion of the new development to affordable housing units and plan to plant an additional seventy-five trees on the parcel. Another act that shows their endless commitment to the betterment of the community. 3CRE worked hand-in-hand with Guild and Marker in this real estate and business transaction in a seamless and timely manner.
