The Pin Deck, a boutique bowling concept from the owners of Scene75 Entertainment Center, is now open! 3CRE visited on the grand opening November 22 and approve of the new modern styled bowling alley as not only a great place for the family but a fun local hangout. The Pin Deck can also be used for private parties and corporate events.
The project was led by the creators of Scene75 and represents a total investment of more than $2 million. Scene75 already operates a 90,000-square-foot location at the site that includes 110 arcade games, indoor go-karts, mini bowling, laser tag, a mini-golf course, a bounce house area, and 2 full service bars and restaurant.
“When we set out to build the Pin Deck, we wanted to create an experience that was different from our award-winning entertainment centers,” Scene75 Entertainment CEO Jonah Sandler said in a statement. “We wanted to create the best bowling alley in Cincinnati, but also a place where young adults would gravitate to for their weekend nights. After going across the country to look at some of the best bowling alleys in the nation, I think we have a place that does just that.”
While attached to Scene 75, The Pin Deck has 12 regulation bowling lanes in an environment with a modern lounge feel. The venue has a full-service bar serving local beers and craft cocktails along with shareable plates from its in-house kitchen. In addition to bowling, the Pin Deck offers billiard tables, eight-person foosball tables, ping-pong tables, shuffleboard and more.
When it came to the menu for the Pin Deck they did not skimp flavor. They have everything from specialty pizza to “not your mommas” mac & cheese and some incredible gourmet hotdogs. For example, two of their very own specialty pizzas “The Pin Deck Cheesesteak” & “Jamaican-Me Mouth Water”. “The Pin Deck Cheesesteak” has marinated, thinly-shaved ribeye with mild cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, white onions and topped with blackening seasoning. “Jamaican-Me Mouth Water” with hot jerk sauce, mozzarella cheese, smoked chicken, pineapples, red onion and tomatoes, topped with a house-made sriracha-aioli.
With bowling, amazing food, and an awesome environment The Pin Deck is projected to become one of Cincinnati’s Top Bowling Alleys. Les Sandler Scene 75 President says, “Bowling is the ultimate game to bring everyone together, but this is not your father’s alley with the dingy lighting and 70s decor. This is bowling evolving into 2018, and I think anyone that wants activities with their night out will really love the place.”
